Privacy Policy

GeBIZ AI ("we", "us", "our") provides a tender-alert monitoring service for Singapore government procurement opportunities published on the GeBIZ portal. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how it is handled, in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
1. What we collect

2. Why we collect it
- To create and secure your account, and deliver the tender alerts you've subscribed to.
- To send alerts via the channel(s) you've chosen — email, Telegram, WhatsApp, or webhook.
- To process subscription payments and manage billing.
- To improve category/keyword suggestions based on your company profile (optional, only if you fill it in).
- To detect abuse and keep the service secure (e.g. rate-limiting login attempts).
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary data with the service providers below, solely to operate GeBIZ AI:
- Stripe / HitPay — payment processing (billing name, email, amount).
- Email delivery provider (SMTP) — to send alert and account emails.
- Telegram / Meta (WhatsApp via Green API) — only if you opt into those alert channels.
- Google / Meta (Facebook) — only if you choose "Sign in with Google/Facebook"; we receive your verified email and name, nothing else.
- Anthropic — if you use the AI Tender Summary feature (Pro/Business), the relevant tender text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a summary. Your account data is not shared with Anthropic.
We do not use any third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.
4. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain billing records for accounting/tax purposes under Singapore law.
5. Your rights
Under the PDPA, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Most of this is self-service from your Account settings; for anything else, email us at support@gebiz.ai and we'll respond within 30 days.
6. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in (a session token) — no third-party tracking or advertising cookies are set.
7. Data security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel.
8. Not affiliated with GeBIZ or the Singapore Government
GeBIZ AI is an independent, privately operated service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to GeBIZ, GovTech, or any Singapore government agency. Tender information is aggregated from GeBIZ's public tender listings.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
